Cindy is an artist, architect, and lifelong learner based in the Waterloo Region.

She is a graduate of the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, where she earned both her HBAS and M.Arch degrees. She has four years of professional experience in architecture and urban design, with co-op positions at HOK, mcCallumSather, Zeidler, and SvN.

Cindy's research and design work explores agency can be expanded within suburban environments. Grounded in urbanism, her work explores where regulations, guidelines, and individual interpretations intersect. She explores methods of representation and abstraction that enable controlled agency and foster social complexity, with the goal of generating vibrant, heterogeneous neighborhoods where moments of unexpected interaction and exploration can thrive.
